Today we're announcing that Renalta will be winding down its current operations.
Renalta remains in a healthy, fully solvent financial position. All customer funds are secure and available for withdrawal. As always, our customers are our top priority, and we're committed to making this wind-down orderly, transparent, and as smooth as possible.
After careful consideration, our team has decided to pursue a new direction. As part of that change, we'll no longer be building our savings and budgeting platform. Bringing our current products to a close isn't an easy decision, but we believe it's the right path forward.
Over the coming weeks, we'll work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition and account closure.
What this means for you
You can withdraw your funds anytime between now and July 31, 2026. We encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience.
We'll send weekly email reminders between now and July 31 with instructions and guidance on any actions you may need to take, including withdrawing your funds.
If you haven't withdrawn your funds and closed your account by July 31, your remaining balance will be automatically returned to the external bank account you originally linked to fund your Renalta account.
Timeline
As of June 24th: Withdrawals are open and new user onboarding is disabled. We'll send weekly email reminders while your account remains open.
On July 31, 2026: Any remaining balance is returned to your originally linked bank account, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. You'll receive confirmation once your funds are returned and your account is closed.
After July 31, 2026: The Renalta app is deactivated and customer-facing services are no longer available.
